A long and winding road has brought me to the wonderful place to live, where I have resided with my wife, Paulette, since 1996. I was born in Illinois and was raised on a farm near the scenic Green Mountains of Vermont. I lived on the vast expanses of the Great Plains living in the town of Plains Kansas for about 9 of my years. I moved from there back to Illinois to be involved in farm management and served as president of our family business MacPartland Management Inc. through 1993. In 1994 I lived in Wroclaw Poland in a New start up company as Poland was going from communism to capitalism. There I served as Vice-director of day-to-day operations of a Polish - American Joint Venture Company, Polean Sp. Z.o.o. In 1996, Paulette a native of the Eastern Shore of Virginia and I married and have lived worked and played here on the Eastern Shore since. I have been fortunate to have traveled some of this world doing missionary work in Western Europe , Eastern Europe and Mexico. I have seen some of the beauty of this earth and have enjoyed seeing some of this good earth but I’m glad that I’m a Virginian now for "Virginia is for Lovers" We really enjoy living on this beautiful piece of land here between the Atlantic Oceans and the Chesapeake Bay.
